If you aren't willing to run away (which is what I'd do), make an offer but agree to absolutely none of their slimy proposals.?? In fact, if you've seen any of their underhanded proposals in writing, use the documentation to report them to the appropriate authorities.
You will have to be incredibly persistent with a titanium coat of armor to survive a deal like this.
