It's official, the summer is finally here and everyone is welcome to enjoy a refreshing dip at all the outdoor pools around the City of Albuquerque beginning this Saturday through mid-August.
Additionally the Sierra Vista Swimming Pool, a 25 meter outdoor pool, has just completed a massive upgrade to their facility including two large white water slides, all new decking and landscaping as a result of the 2007 and 2009 G.O. Bonds.
Mayor Richard Berry said, ?We're just thrilled with the new slides at Sierra Vista. Kids and parents alike are really going to enjoy this new feature; it's a wonderful addition to the pool and the entire aquatic system.?
The public is encouraged to visit the Sierra Vista Swimming Pool and all of the other pool sites around Albuquerque to have fun and enjoy the summer.
