The OUYA video game console ended today, raising $8,596,475 from more than 63,000 backers.
It becomes the second highest funded project behind the Pebble: E-Paper Watch, which racked more than $10.2 million.
OUYA was the fourth game project to break the $1 million mark and eighth overall on the site. It had earlier broken the record for fastest to $1 million, reaching the mark in eight hours and 22 minutes.
The OUYA is slated to be released April 2013. The cost is $109, which includes $10 shipping and one controller. Additional controllers are $30.
